I understand that getting your hair done can sometimes be overwhelming. I often get asked these questions, so the answer you're looking for could be here!
How does your pricing work?
Hair is not a one size fits all service! Each and every one of my clients are unique and beautiful in their own ways. Every appointment varies in time and service needed. Pricing is customized based on your current hair, any previous color history, future hair goals, and services needed to get there.
What if I don't want my hair washed or styled at my appointment?
All haircuts include a complimentary wash, blowout, and style.
If you are doing a color service, wash will be required.
If you choose not to get your hair washed, it is recommended that you come to your appointment with clean, airdried hair. Do not use a tight elastic/hair tie before your haircut, so I can best assess your natural hair texture at it's natural fall.
Please note that haircut price does not change even if you choose not to get a wash or style your hair after.
Is there separate pricing if I just wanted a trim?
Whether you are getting "just a trim", adding layers, or doing a drastic cut - the process of all haircuts is the same and therefore will be charged the same. However- If you book a color service, haircuts are complimentary.
Can we do a consultation over messages or do I have to come into the salon?
Consultations can be done over messages for haircuts and color services. Providing pictures of your current hair is the best way to receive a quote through messages. Please be aware that quotes can change once I see your hair in person.

In-person consultations are required for hair extensions in order to color match and order hair.
Please come to your consultation with clean, airdried hair with your natural hair texture.
What is a hair treatment? When would I need one?
You can choose to add on a hair treatment to any service. A hair treatment targets any problems you may have with your hair such as damage or dryness.
If you'd like to just come in for a hair treatment, please book a blowout with the hair treatment add on. I will recommend hair treatments at your service if I feel like it would benefit your hair. Hair treatments add on about 15 minutes to any service.
If you feel like your hair is dry, damaged, or fragile - a treatment or haircut may be necessary to proceed with certain services.
How long will my appointment take? I have plans on the day of my appointment and need to be out of the salon at a certain time.
Please be aware that changing your hair color can sometimes be unpredictable depending on your hair history - especially if you are a new client and have had another stylist work on your hair in the past. Please allow ample amount of time if you are booked for a color correction or a lightening service. I will usually give an estimated time, but I can not guarantee my best work if you are rushing out of the salon. If you have a time constraint, please let me know before booking your appointment so we can figure out the best option for both of us.
How should I best prepare for my appointment? Is there anything you need from me as a client?
Please arrive with clean, DRY hair.
Coming with wet hair can prolong your appointment time and may result in extra charge.

Keep your at home maintenance in mind for your beauty budget! It is essential that you are using the right shampoos, conditioners, and products in order to maintain your hair color and keep it looking healthy. If you own products already and are unsure if they will work, please check in with me to make sure they are suitable for your new hair!

This is your time to kickback and relax. I do share my space so I can't always guarantee a completely silent appointment, but if you don't feel like talking please don't hesitate to let me know. We can keep conversation to a minimum, unless I need to ask questions regarding your hair of course!

Snacks, a drink, a book, a game to play, and a few inspiration photos! We will have a thorough consultation prior to starting your service.

We do offer a variety of drinks and snacks in salon and an iPhone charger on hand!
My hair color is fading! Why?
Please note that ALL hair color WILL fade overtime.
Whether you are going darker or lighter, warm or ashy - your hair will fade depending on your wash schedule, products you are using, sun exposure, and other factors.
Please reach out to me personally and we can troubleshoot together if you feel like your hair is fading abnormally quick.
Please prebook your maintenance appointments if possible. If you are unsure what maintenance is required for your hair, please reach out to me personally!
