I am Jaylen Cierra, your new go-to hairstylist in Northern Sacramento at Coastal Beauty Salon!
I was born and raised in San Jose, CA and moved to Sacramento in 2017.

Since I was a young girl, I've loved ALL things beauty.
I was a beauty advisor at Ulta Beauty for several years before I finally decided to pursue my cosmetology license and become a hairstylist. I studied cosmetology at Federico Beauty Institute in Sacramento.
Now, I'm pursuing my dream of being an independent stylist and continuing to grow my business! ​​​​
I still remember the feeling of changing my hair for the first time. I felt more confident and I felt more ME. I love being able to pass that feeling on to my clients. ​​​​

When I'm not in the salon I love to spend time with my loved ones, hang out with my dog, attend local markets, and try new restaurants!
I love video games like Animal Crossing, Mario Party, and the Sims.
I love watching cheesy rom-coms, bad reality TV, thrillers, and Marvel movies.
When I can, I love to travel, and attend concerts!
My favorite artists I've seen live are SZA, Kehlani, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Jhene Aiko, and UMI to name a few.
